Arundel by Candlight & This is Arundel website & Arundel Eccentrics Decorative Painting Workshops

Good Morning
from
Arundel Eccentrics.

Its a beautiful, crisp, sunny morning.
Saturday was very similar.
Luckily, as it was
Arundel By Candlelight.

The lull before the storm ha ha
Nass setting up our stand in Arundel High Street

This Littlehampton youth band kicked everything off
and, I have to say, they were wonderful.
It put everyone in a good frame of mind.

Luckily.... this was our stall out neighbour

it started off quite sedate......
 everyone getting their stands ready..........

Oyez, Oyez,............Angela our town crier introducing...........
 Michael Tu, our mayor

I declare this Arundel by Candlight  open..........
a few real Arundel eccentrics were out and about...............

and then the crowds started to arrive...................

and arrive.........................
and arrive....ha ha

the shop windows looked glorious............here is The Book Ferret

 Tarrant Street...was buzzing.........

 the restaurants were full..........
Antiquities in Tarrant Street

Vintage Maison
Elf and Safety................

Nineveh House where I had my shop about 12 years ago..............
Dawns Vintage Do...gets them dancing in the street

The procession with all the children and their parents.....................

What a night.................

Thanks to everyone who organised it....some feat I am sure.....
but it was wonderful.........

This is Arundel

is a new website showcasing many of the local Arundel Businesses.
Its beautifully done.

There are several sites showing all the beauties of Arundel,
the castle, cathedral, the river, the town and the history.
It's all pretty well documented.
But, up until now there hasn't been a site that's pulled together
all the businesses in such a gorgeous and stylish way.

Its particularly great for businesses like ours that are off the beaten track.

Its given us a window........

Paint and decorate furniture workshops

Our workshops have proven to be highly successful, inasmuch as the people who have come on them seem to always return for more, full of enthusiasm.

We have gift vouchers for Christmas....well, any time, who needs a reason to give?

So, what will someone get out of a workshop?

A full day of tuition in small classes, usually no more than 3 people
A vegetarian lunch with a glass or two of wine...... if they promise not to fall asleep in the afternoon.Ha Ha

............and some lifetime skills that will see them able to transform items of furniture, cheaply and beautifully.

for example we turned these sad looking chests.................

into these handsome creatures............

...............and after all our years of experience, we make such a reasonable job of it,
that shops like Liberty in London buy from us.

So....all that for £95 for one day

£150 if you book two together

Get a small group of friends together and we will also give you a discount.
I know, I know...... crazy LOL
