Kempton Antiques Fair, House and Garden Magazine, The Old Brewery Antiques Warehouses & other stuff

Hello from
Arundel Eccentrics Antiques.

Hows life?
We've been busy with our antiques warehouse.
We welcomed two friends who have taken a small space.
It's great as they have come in with new ideas and enthusiasm.
It's really hard when you are a little off the High Street.

Not far....admittedly
About 2 minutes walk...well, I guess that depends
on how fast your legs go, LOL...but you know what I mean.

We might as well be a million miles away.
We are down a little alley, or twitten as we say down south.
Round a corner et voila.
Three large warehouses bursting with interesting pieces.

There are now 8 businesses in our three ole brewery warehouses.

Here's a taster......

We are having two open days
on the first Bank Holiday in May.
The Sunday and Monday.

Kempton Antiques Fair

We were up at 4 am this morning to head for Kempton Antiques Fair.
Our neighbour and friend Lisa came along with us.

Oooer not so good at getting up at silly o'clock.
Amazing as I worked nights for 7 years and managed to skate along on very little sleep.

It developed into the most beautiful day after a foggy drive up to Sunbury in Surrey.

We found some great things.
It was Lisa's first time...she thought she was in heaven.

Because of the early start
leaving at 5am,
(it opens at 6.30)
by about ten you think it's lunchtime.

We stopped for tea and a toasted sandwich.
Tell you what though, after being veggie for over thirty years
those bacon butty smells get to me every time.
Why is that?
Not that I've ever given into the craving. LOL

Kempton is on twice a month.
Here's a bit more about it.

Looking forward now to Ardingly Antique Fair which is next Tuesday.

Mothers Day Gift

My lovely son, daughter in law and the gorgeous l'il one sent a belated
mothers day gift which arrived this morning.

We miss them very much.
California is a very long way from Arundel.

Thank you so much guys my gift was lovely.

Lets hope we shall be with you later in the year.

House and Garden Magazine

We were commissioned to decorate a chest of drawers for House and Garden Magazine.
It was for a shoot on whimsical ways to use wallpaper.
Lovely to be asked hey?

You can see more of our pieces on The Hoarde
