Snowy Arundel, Website Updated & a date with The Glums
Hello
from
Arundel Eccentrics
and a rather cold, snowy, Arundel
Firstly,
We had a great little piece in last weeks Chichester Observer......
every little helps...
as they say..
Last week, an old friend arrived from France, to stay with us.
We had a great walk along the beach at Climping.
Oh, my, it was bitter and the sky looked pretty full of snow.
and the next day....it REALLY did come down..........
This was Tarrant Street, Arundel........
Arundel High Street
The Book Ferret Arundel High Street |
and on Saturday we joined with another buddie who was down from London for the weekend and we had the most gorgeous walk......right up the hills in Arundel Park.
Mill Road............ Arundel
scratching around for breakfast |
Swanbourne Lake |
the hills were busy with friends and families sledging...................
and snowboarding....................
Arundel Castle in the distance
We walked right up over the hills,
down into Offham
......... and enjoyed a little break while we drank hot choc and shared a plate of chips in
The Black Rabbit Pub
and back into town along Mill Road.
It was gorgeous...weather crisp and clear,
so much nicer than the months of damp we have been wading through.

here is a little sample of what we have.
these fish chests of drawers are so eccentric,
but they appear to be, well loved.
So...what of today?
I have some Victorian Bamboo pieces to press on and finish
with and we have a workshop on Saturday,to prepare for.
The snow is still on the ground and its cold...
...and the afternoon is set aside for my French friend
and I to go to Chichester and watch
Les Miserable.
Oh! I am so looking forward to that.
Have a wonderful day, whatever you are doing.
