Arundel Festival & Antiques & Interiors Around the Town
Arundel Festival
A few snaps from
Arundel Festival day 2
town was busy as ever
managed to resist these cakes for a second day
this little girl was enjoying herself...she didnt stop dancing
there she is again!
We are a bit out of the way to see crowds like those.
Anyway we wouldn't have the room!
It's worth walking round behind the Co-op if you are interested in antiques/interiors
Come down the alley next to William Hill and turn left
You will find 3 large warehouses
3 different businesses and styles
It's quite a find.
We are the last in the row...last but not least
Here's just a taster
you will find all details..more photos..price etc
on The Hoarde
The Hoarde
We are all open throughout the festival
until around 5 pm
We are a little off the main street
Heres a little about antiques and interiors in the area
Antiques & Interiors
On and Off The High Street
For such a small town Arundel boasts
a huge diverse collection of antique shops.
Well, of course, there is the beautiful and internationally known,
Spencer Swaffer shop on the High Street.
Then there’s Bridge Antiques Centre,
Then there’s Bridge Antiques Centre,
Arundel Antique Buyers also in the High Street.
Antiquites and Nineveh House,
the converted chapel, can be found in Tarrant Street.
Is that it?
Oh no, no, no, my friend, that’s by far not it.
That’s just for starters.
Look beyond the main Arundel streets and
you will find a cornucopia of antiques warehouses.
Let’s start with The Old Brewery Antiques Warehouses.
Hidden down a little alley, behind Arundel’s Co-op
are the last remaining warehouses of the 19th
They house three large antiques showrooms.
French Loft.
Then there’s Steve Lawrence at Harmony Antiques,
with a collection of English and French decorative antiques.
Next door are husband and wife team
Nass and Brenda who run Arundel Eccentrics.
That's us
With a large collection of English and French decorative antique furniture.
We also decorate 19th century bamboo
furniture and chests of drawers using decoupage.
The quirky
but sophisticated look has not only attracted
national and international magazines,
but also Liberty in London.
in 2016 we had the large room on Liberty's 4th floor almost to ourselves
such a thrill to be invited
Coming out of Arundel
on the A27 going east is
The Vinery
Once a mushroom farm, the massive site boasts
not only well over 20 antique traders,
but a shipper
(Steve Belt Shipping)
and four furniture restorers including
plus the widest array of antique furniture

If you are in any doubt that Arundel's off the
High Street antique traders should be given a second
look............this will blow you away.....
