Jay and Krista's engagement session...orders of furniture..and great buddies

I enlisted the help of my mate Allie Bond yesterday,
to give me a hand on a large order of furniture for a
new US customer.

CHAOS!

It all has to be ready on time for the shippers
to pick up so its all a mad panic.

With her help though I managed to get loads done.

So thanks again to great friends
who are always there to bale you out!

LOVELY TO WORK ON FURNITURE OUT IN THE GARDEN ON A SUNNY DAY

My house and summer house are like something out of
Steptoe's Yard...you'd have to be well over 30
to know about that one.
Suffice it to say, its stashed high with half finished furniture
and clothes and washing that I just don't have the time to even look at..so it looks a total chaotic mess.
Only I know its organised chaos!

NEARLY FINISHED!

THE FISH DESIGN ON OUR 19TH CENTURY FURNITURE...THIS IS BY FAR THE MOST POPULAR IMAGE

PARTICULARLY IN THE BLACK FINISH...ALMOST FINISHED HERE TOO!

We worked hard, but laughed loads and managed a wee glass of wine to celebrate the end of a successful day

...No..well...you have to!
A cup of Earl Grey doesn't quite cut it after lugging heavy pieces of furniture around all day,
sticking about 200 fish onto one chest of drawers and manically rubbing the colour into craquelure cracks on another.

Jay and his lovely other half Krista
are getting married in Virginia next September.
You might remember we witnessed the proposal
 outside
St Nicholas Church, in London Road,
Arundel where  Nass and I our service.

This morning, we had a link to look at their amazing
Engagement Photos session,
which seems to be a huge thing in the States,
though not so big in the UK..or am I very out of touch?

The photos are absolutely stunning.
Jay and Krista
would sit well on the pages of Vogue,
particularly after this photo shoot.

For any of Jays old friends in England,
you might like to have a look.

here's the link

Jay and Krista engagement pictures

I cant give you a taster I'm afraid
as the site wont allow copying,
but it's well worth going through the link and having a look.

Now it's back to the summer house and fish and chests of drawers......

Have a great day
