Arundel Festival Day One.
Arundel Festival was off to a flying start today.
I managed to nip out of the shop occasionally to have a look around.
One thing I did notice was that the traffic wardens had been out in force.
It must have taken the joy out of the day for many people when they returned to their cars.
The crowds turned out and there was very much a festival atmosphere.

I loved watching this 1940's style dance group
Their costumes were brilliant.

Jubilee Gardens was hectic all day with entertainment going on until the evening.
After we closed the shop, I put on my walking boots and
walked to the Black Rabbit and back...and no I didnt stop for a glass!
walked back along the river bank, where I didnt meet a soul....rather lovely after the busy town.
